I Learned Stuff!

I learned a considerable amount of things this year in this class. My favorite thing to do though is to blog on Blogger. I can always express myself in my own way when I am blogging. I also liked to do the  technology alphabet. It was cool because everybody got different things and I had won! I thought this class was fun and I hope that next year will be fun as well. One thing I didn`t like was the typing web. It was confusing. Especially trying not to look at the keyboard. I will miss this classroom and all of the people in it and I want to return next year.

What?

One time a while back we had gotten back from vacation when we came back to find out that our front door was open. I had ran inside and the inside of my home was bare and there was nothing inside except a strange item. A pair of giant  rainbow sparkly butterfly wings. It was odd because those butterfly wings were just sitting in the middle of my livingroom! It would`ve been hard to get those wings off of my wall because they were on pretty tight. Even our toilet was taken out of our bathroom. All of our food was gone and a few random things were scattered around the front lawn. I know that if one day, I walk into someones house that was an exact copy, then i`ll know they robbed us!

Dream From The Dead!

I had the weirdest dream last night. My memaw was in it and she past away two years ago. I hugged her and we talked. It was also weird because we were at my aunt naneens house and everyone knew she was there. She even looked the same as if she had never even died. I was more astonished and bewildered than scared. I got a little frightened because nobody was at my house this morning and a little after I woke up, I heard a few doors shut adn my basement door shut in front of my eyes. Possibly it was her telling me bye? I still really miss her and maybe she wanted to visit me in my dream. I love my memaw and hope she comes to visit more often.

Wow.

        There I was in front of seven doors, one after another getting smaller yet smaller. A strange voice tells me in a small whisper " Each of these doors has a beautiful contents beyond your wildest imaginationor fear! Choose your pick, do you want to be mystified or horified?". I chose the fourth door. An amazing feeling coursed my vains, and I knew right away where I was. I was in Wonderland! A beautiful flower shone through a berry bush. I picked it and felt a soft velvety feeling in my hand. I put the flower in my hair. My hair became softer than the flower and I began walking.

Awesome Exploring!

You know its good to be creative right? I always like to examine what I have because it keeps me busy when i`m boared. I have collected numerous random things that are in my room such as, my rock collections. You can discover what the rock has been through just by examining it. I also discovered something on my arm that looks like an awesome constellation of the big dipper. I outlined it in pen and its very visible. Another cool thing I found is a turtle shall. I can tell how old it is by examining the cracks. Before the turtle died it was 40 years old and the shell still has its vertebre! I have these fish one is green and one is blue and you can see their brains!

Confusion !

Hi! I have had an extremely confusing day today. I had felt like crying in a way. In communication arts my teacher keeps bringing up independant and dependant clauses and I don`t exactly know what they mean. I told her I felt like I should already know what it meant and she said it was okay. She also tried explainig what it meant but I felt bad so I told her I understood what it meant. I sort of understood what she said about them, yet I am still confused. I tried looking up the meaning in the dictionary although it wasn`t there. I wish I knew what it meant because it is obviously important that I should know it.

The Turkey Day Mishap!

For my first Thanksgiving as host, I bought the biggest turkey that they had in the store. It was one of the busiest times of the day, and there were alot of crazy people running around. After I had picked up the turkey, a large 30 pounder a rude woman came up to me and tried to pull the turkey away from me. I pulled back and realized how tough this lady was. I was tougher so I pulled the turkey away and she was only left with one turkey leg. As I was driving home with my turkey it was a rather warm day, so I bought some icecream. Soon after, I heard an explosion in the back of my car and the turkey was next to the icecream... and thats why we all had hamburgers!

Family History

We are studying family history in communication arts  in Mrs. Ganeys class right now and it is alot of fun. My grandma is the one who looks up the family ancestory and she made me a little book with documents, pictures, and news paper articles about my family. I am indian, scottish, irish, english, and a few other things. One of the news paper articles about my family was my three greats grandpa who got hit by a train. Another one of my ancestors got hit by a car! It is really weird. Another odd fact about my family is that I am blood related to George Washington! Bye!

Halloween

It was Halloween lastnight and I am really tired. I have survived school today but I am really tired still. My sister and brother stayed home, but I wanted to go to school. I have an important project in math to work on. I loved Halloween, it was fun. Although, I scared a few little kids with my costume. My costume was Ernie from Sesame Street. It was really big on me. Alot of people recognized my costume and loved it. Some people were laughing at me when I came to get candy. I also got lots of candy too! My brother, sister, and I traded out candy so I have alot of candy in my bag now.

The Train Tracks By The Forest

There was once a girl named Jessie. She lived in a small cottage by the railroad tracks. Jessie never liked to go far, only home and town. One day she decided to take a small walk by the train tracks. She only brought a pic nik basket with a turkey sandwich and a snack in it. She walked beside the train tracks for a few hours and noticed she began to walk in  woods. These woods were no normal woods- the trees were bright mysterious rainbow colors!

My technology class

  Through the first quarter of 7th grade I learnd that there are many things you can do on computers that you can't do on alot of things. I liked the class it was okay. I just didn't like worksheets in here. I just thought that it was all going to be on the computers. But, other than that I really did like this class this quarter, and I can't wait for the 3rd quater to come. Even if it is just around the corner!!! It will be so exciting to see what we will do second quarter. My classes have changed over the first quarter. I can't wait to meet my new teachers and see their classrooms. i hope they all like me, because I can't stand it when a teacher doesn't like me. All of my teachers have so far but I'm waiting for that one that won't!!

Hair

   My friend Keri said that she will style my hair at lunch today! I can't wait! She learnd to do it from her friend, it is called teaseing. I heard of it but never done it before. I'm soo excited about it. I wonder what my hair will look like in the next 30 min. I'm soo happy! Ahhhh! I can;t wait it will be soo exciting to see my hair as a knew style.I'm soo use to the normal hair style, the casual flip back with a bobby pin, or a baret. The Perfect Day ( For a Pirate)

  The main things that a pirate would need for the day to be perfect is the following: Food, water, shelter, sunlight, rest, and plenty of Gold Coins! He or she also may need a message bottle for a message to whoever reads it to save he or she.They may also need a plan to get out of wherever they may be. Another thing might be a good way of eating or drinking sometthing even if it may be bad for them they deffinetly need something for themselves.If they don't find the specific things they may have a possibility of dieing where they may lie. So incase if you ever get lost at see always bring what you need to survive.

GYM races

   In gym the other day I got the fastest time in the birdy races. The reagular time for a girl is 10.2. My time in that was 9.4!! I was trying to beat my old score 9.9 then I got 9.4! Afterthat we did it one more time and I got 9.5. So I did pretty good I heard that a kid named Owen got 9.3! We are so close. We need to have a race to see who is faster. If only we could do that someday in gym. It would be so fun! I hope maybe we could do that sometime. I wonder who would get the faster time me or Owen. I think it would be pretty interesting. I would come home with a giant smile on my face if I won. I wouder what he would do if he won the race. I hope someday we could do that. That would be so fun!

Except the odd thing

  I had a horrible break in inside of my house!! Who ever they were they took everything from me! I was so disappointed! But, there was ine thing that they left behind, the object was completly useless to the police but it would help me identify the robbers of my house while I was gone.I would really enjoy finding the person, or people who did this. I will make them buy the things all over again. I wonder who it could possibly be. I would like to know why they took everything but, the oddest thing in my house? I guess they just didn't like it as much as the other objects inside of my house. I can't belive I just got robbed!!

    After this class I have PAWS class. I like my PAWS class because we always have fun in there. I have done some jobs for him, like createing a file folder. I always have fun in that class. I can't wait I am soo  excited! I wonder what we are going to do today. I have a very close friend in there her name is Keri Copland. She is in alot of my classes.Our techer is Mr. Kinder. I can't wait  to go in his class!!

I have a really cool shirt on today! It's green with little ruffles on it. It is so cool. I like this shirt so much I feel smart in this shirt. And I also feel like an operator like the people who always hold your call. I can be so wierd sometimes but I like it. I feel excited today which is normal but strange at the same time! Do you ever feel like that? I almost always do. It's wierd but that's what I'm all about. I make myself laugh all the time. I like to laugh and have fun with my friends. I can be pretty funny when I'm with them. They do almost the samething I do I think we are all funny together!!

The first thing that came to my mind when I saw this piture was the length of something. I'm not sure what but it my be the length of an object of matter that is a solid. Another thing could be the measurement of a liquid, solid, or a gas. I also thought mabey it's a way of showing a unit of life. I'm not quite sure what it could be. But, I'm certain that I will fined out sooner or later. And the sooner the better because I would really want to find out what the picture could mean and I hope to find out very soon.

 My momory that I would love to keep forever is the one of my vacation to the gulf! I went to Gulf Shores, Alabama!! I went there just last year. It was so fun! I didnt go with my family though, I went with my friend, Sam. When I was there I literily wanted a memory of it so I bottled up some sand and to this very day I never opend it and I never will!!

Today so far, I have one page of homework. The good thing is that I already finished the front side and I may get more later on in the day but I can't wait! If I finish my homework I may be able to get a new matress today! I'm so excited for my new things I may get. First, a matress for my room and a soft one too. On the first Monday of September, people celebrate Labor Day! This day celebrates the achievements of workers. It shows that people in America work hard each and every day. 100 years after there was still question of who proposed the holiday. Peter J. McGuire, general of Brotherhood of Carpenters and joiners, of the American Federation of Labor were probably the ones who have suggusting the day to honor all of the workers of America. Nobody challanged the idea of Labor Day at the time. A machinist named Matt Maguire proposed Labor Day.A day in 1882 he was serving as a secertary in Central Labor Union in New York on that day he was the one who proposed to the holiday. The very first Labor Day was held on  a Tuesday on September 5, 1882. As years pass many people have enjoied the holiday. It bacame leagal in every state one by one. The celebration of Labor Day has lead to displays and even parades. Labor Day really shows our countries strength, freedom, and yes even leadership in our one of a kind country, AMERICA!!

Article about Africa

I think this artical from Africa is wrong. Just because your a girl dosen't mean you can't live your life. Just think in the future the men can't marry anybody. All because all of the women a gone. Eventhough marriage is expensive, it dosen't mean you can't have a simple ceremony for the couple.The things they are doing to them is horrible! And if they did that here it would be even worse. I think they sould change the law and whatever you have you have. If you have a girl don't kill her, and with a boy don't kill him. It is wrong to do that to anything, or anyone. And if you do that would be against the law. Not just having a baby girl. So if you have a boy or girl don't hurt it in anyway. Just do the right thing and hold on to the kid at all cost.

I have made my own warrior cat,based on the book series Warriors by Erin Hunter,and her name is Miseryfire.She is a black cat with white stripes and has mysterious orange and red eyes.She is in a Clan that I made up too,and it is called PhantomClan.This Clan is for dark-hearted cats that love to go into battle against another Clan and loves to invade another Clans territory.Miseryfire is one of the best and fastest warriors in the entire forest.She is mysterious though.She is dark,mysterious,rude,stubborn,and loves the shadows of the camp.She loves to go hunting in the shadows of trees and bushes cause the prey can never see her.

Phoenixes

For Teacher Appreciation Week,I want to reconize Mrs. Ganey as my appreciated teacher.The reason why she is my favorite is not because she almost never gives us homework,but it is for that she does so much stuff for us.She has shown that she will do what she can to help us finish something.Mrs. Ganey also gave us the oppotunity to go to the City Museum if someone has made their A.R. Goal 3 out of the 4 quarters and if we payed her the money,she rented out a movie theater for the movie 'The Hungeer Games'.She is a loving and kind teacher that I am proud to have as a teacher.

Some things I can do to help the Earth is to pick up trash,even if it is not mine,and throw it away in either the recycling ben or in a trash can.The things I do everyday to make the Earth clean and healthy is that I turn off water when I don't need it,Iturn off the lights when I'm done with it,and I want my family to get a recycle ben so we can recycle cans,bottles,newspaper,and other things that are made from trees.I also try to stop my stepdad and his family to stop smoking.When they smoke,they just put us in danger.When they smoke,they leave a whole in our atmosphere so the harmful rays of the Sun cause us to get skin cancer.

Eating Healthy

One way to eat healthy is to eat fruit and vegetables at every meal so we can have more calciuim and vitamins.You can also drink milk to make your bones strong and drnk water to keep yourself hidrated.Als, don't drink alot of soda and don't eat alot of candy since it is bad for you.Eating good, healthy food will give you the nutrition you need.Every day you should draink at least 1 or 2 bottles of water and fruit and vegetables at every meal.

Ergonomics

Ergonomics is the right kind of posture and allignment of hands, arms, and legs.One of my bad habits are that I sometimes sloutch.Yes, our workstations are ergonomically sound.People should sit with their bad straight and have both feet flat on the ground.

Yes, I think it is justified that some images on Google maps are blurred so no one can see it clearly.Then, no one can steal their home or set it on fire.Also, if anything like that happened, then the person who got their house, or identity, stolen would probably sue Google maps. No, I have not,yet, noticed anything mysterious about Google maps.If I do evr find anything mysterious, I would call their company and ask them what it was about.

7th Grade Technology

This quarter in technology, I learned how to type the right way. Next, we learned about blogging. Also, I learned all about computers, the parts, what they do, how they work, and so on. Then we learned how to edit Microsoft Word documents. After that we learned about Microsoft Exell and we made a picture with it and made instructions how to make that picture. I loved this quarter!

Minecraft

Minecraft is an awesome game. It's all about getting supplies the first day to build a house and survive the night of zombies, creepers, and skeletons, oh my! Then as you go on in the game you can dig deeper to find cobblestone, iron, gold, diamond, and redstone. You can use these to create tools and weapons. Then you collect animals to feed yourself and gather wool and leather. Next you want to make armor to protect yourself from those terrible creatures. Lastly you live, you can create ulimited creations, make cool houses, make zombie traps, play with your friends, make a farm, gather food, and survive.

Photo Booth

This picture reminds me of a program on my mom's laptop called Photo Booth. Photo Booth is where you can make you face looked twisted, stretched, squeezed, or big. I love making funny videos with my friends. Once my cousins were over at my house, and one cousin was singing a parody of a song. Then I chucked a soccerball at his head and he made a really funny noise and he fell over. We watched it over and over again.

My Favorite Hobby

My favorite hobby is paintball. I love going paintballing with my friends. I think it's cool to have an excuse to shoot someone. I once went for my birthday party and since it was my birthday everyone got to line up in an empty feild with their guns while I run around without my gun like a crazy moron trying to dodge their paintballs. It really hurt but i still like it better when I have a gun.

One of My Favorite Video Games

One of my favorite video games is "Call of Duty: Black Ops." I like this game because it has zombies on it. My favorite zombie map is Kino Der Toten. Once I was playing online and I was on round 19 and I had the pack-a-punched ray-gun and I was doing really well. Then I got down and my friend got max ammo and when I got up I ran out of ammo for my ray-gun, so we all died.

Helping Others

Once I helped one of my friends by picking up his stuff when he dropped it. I felt bad when he dropped it because everyone was laughing at him, and he looked really sad. Instead of laughing I went to go help him pick it up. He thanked me, and then we became friends. I used to always hang out with him. We played football, baseball, hockey, and we went swimming. It's amazing how just by helping someone I earned a best friend.
