Nascar

NASCAR ( National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing) is one of my favorite things to watch. My favorite Nascar driver is Kurt Busch. Jimmy Johnson has won a lot of races this year. My second favorite driver Joey Logano, or Jeff Gordan. At the Daytona 500 the person who won was surprised because it was his first race. There is a lot of wrecks in Nascar.

Weather Reports

I find out about the weather by Fox 2 News. It is important, because if I don't know the weather I might go out to play with my friends and it could start raining. If it is raining or there is bad weather I can't go play outside with my friends. If I didn't have realtime weather information the last few day would have been weird. The first broadcast weather report was made by radio station WEW in St. Louis, MO, in 1921.

"If you want to lift yourself up, lift up someone else" means if you want to help yourself help someone first. I want to be good at something so my friend helped me out before helping himself. If someone needs help on a question I could help him before helping myself. If I want to be better at baseball my friend can help me first, then help himself. If I want to be better at Wii my cousin could help me first, then himself.
